You are the Camera

You are the Camera.

You are the Camera. That was the message. You don’t need a camera, you are the camera. You are the Universe’s camera recording from every possible angle, capturing every possible moment. You don’t have to do anything to earn it, you don’t have to be any different, you being you in the world is the experience.

Take a second and focus your eyes on something near to you. Look at how quickly the lenses of your eyes bring it into sharp focus. Look at something beyond it. How quickly the closer object blurs.

That is exactly what cameras do. It is exactly what we do.

Do what you like doing, nothing more, nothing less.

A shocking statement to those living in the modern, industrialized world, the stress hormone-driven megalopolises of our day.

But here’s the thing: the Universe actually doesn’t want you to do things you hate doing.

Eventually the Universe tells you it wants you to enjoy yourself. If there are aspects of your life that aren’t working, just own it and change them, remove them, leave them, fix them, mend them.

We have energy and are energy. Where we contribute that energy is our power in life. Every single one of us deserves to spend our lives focusing on what we find important, beautiful, valuable. Recording, remembering for the Universe.

That’s you. The Universe is you.

Remember that energy cannot be created or destroyed. It can only change form. That’s you, that everything out there, that’s you. Once you let the flow guide you, beauty infuses your life.

The Universe wants you to love every aspect of your life. It wants the challenges that you face to be ones you invite, not loathe.

Find your challenges, find your tribe, find your collaborators, find your passion. Not just the word “passion”. Like the actual thing about which you are passionate.

Believe, trust your intuition, and when life feels overwhelming, go eat something.
